You can now IMPORT!

We just uploaded a new web version of PadCAD with the bug fixes that are going to be in the latest iPad version (Version 1.5.1). I also added an Import button. You can now work on your padcad drawings if you have copied your padcad files to your PC or Mac. Simply go https://plugworks.com. Once PadCAD loads, click on the preferences icon. The panel will have a new button called "IMPORT". Click on it and you'll be prompted with a file browser. Choose your padcad file and it'll load your drawing.

Happy drafting!

Hope this helps in the interim while the new version of PacCAD gets approved by Apple.

PadCAD 1.5 pulled

Dear PadCAD users,

I've pulled the latest version of PadCAD (v 1.5) off the iTunes market due to the update bug I mentioned in my last post.  Version 1.5.1, with the bug fixes, has been submitted and is being reviewed by Apple.  It should hopefully be on the market by the end of the week.

Update Bug

If you update PadCAD to version 1.5 there may be a small bug during the update process.
Fortunately it's an easy fix.
Just delete and re-install the app and it should fix your problem.
You won't have to pay of the app again once you delete it.
Apple keeps a record of all the apps you've purchased and lets you re-intall them if you delete an app.
Again, sorry for this problem but I have no control over the update process. It's something that is taken care of by the iPad software.

WARNING : Make sure you save any important drawings you may have onto your pc or mac via iTunes before you delete your app!

Please back up any important drawings you may have before you update the app.
About 10% of our customers have lost drawings during previous updates.
